As another semester at this beautiful place I get to call my home away from home comes and goes, I'm proud to finish another semester on the Dean's List. Berry is an exceptional institution that has pushed me both academically, spiritually, and mentally. Working 2 jobs while maintaining classes as well as a part time social life has been tough but it has taught me the true meaning of time management and to only do things in life that will help you grow as a person. As my sophomore year chapter ends, I'm thrilled to be going into my junior year next fall, but that doesn't make it easy to believe that my college experience is halfway over... I'm excited for the next few months to come.
This summer I will be working at Berry once again for my third summer in the Marketing and Communications office under my amazing boss, Chris. As well as doing some traveling for family events such as a few weddings that are coming up. I may even be going to Washington D.C. for a week at the end of June if the stars align as they are... Finishing the summer out I'll be in Florida for a few days with Cas and Alli before coming back here to begin fall training for being a First Year Mentor. Boy am I excited (: This summer will be one for the books, and if that's any sign of how my junior year is going to go, bring it on!
To my family, I love you and thank you for pushing me to always do my best. I will see you in just a little over two weeks... And to my friends, both here at Berry and at home, thank you for believing in me and catching me when I have fallen. What a journey it's been thus far, I'm ready to see where the next two years take me.
